Fallout 76 players got a look at what’s to come for the game after the company released a new event calendar.
The online action role-playing game’s calendar revealed the start of season 11 as it covered events from the start of December through the end of March 2023. Season 11: Nuka-World will kick-off Dec. 6 with an update to start it all off.
Developer Bethesda Game Studios and publisher Bethesda Softworks release calendars like this regularly to keep players abreast of what they can expect in the coming months. The company released this calendar via social media.
The calendar not only showcased the start of season 11, but also indicated a start date for season 12 with Feb. 28 serving as the start point.
Another point of interest is the final weekend on the calendar March 30 through April 3 titled “Just a Normal Weekend.” This event falls over April 1, or April Fool’s Day, with no other details.
Bethesda has largely planned events for most days throughout the first quarter of 2023 for Fallout 76, including recurring occurrences such as Gold Rush and Minerva’s Big Sale. Many of the specified events don’t include a ton of additional details.
Fallout 76 is a prequel game set in an alternate history during the year 2102, putting it 25 years before a nuclear war that laid waste to the Earth.
The player character is a resident of Vault 76, which is a fallout shelter in West Virginia reserved for the best the country has to offer. Players exit the vault on Reclamation Day and help recolonize the Wasteland.
Fallout 76 is Bethesda’s first online multiplayer game. It inhabits an open world four times the size of Fallout 4 that operates under a real-time format.
The game released in late 2018 and is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows.
