GameBoy and GameBoy Advance Games Are Coming To Nintendo Switch Online

Nintendo has finally announced that Game Boy and Game Boy Advance games are coming to their Nintendo Switch Online program in today’s Nintendo Direct.

A slew of Game Boy games will join the standard Nintendo Switch Online level while a host of Game Boy Advance games will be part of the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack tier. These will be our first handheld these systems to be added to the service, and will be added later today.

The Game Boy games, which include some Game Boy Color titles, include:

Tetris
Super Mario Land 2: Six Golden Coins
The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX
Gargoyle’s Quest
Game and Watch Gallery 3
Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
Metroid 2: Return of Samus
Wario Land 3
Kirby’s Dream Land

The Game Boy Advance titles include:

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
Mario Kart Super Circuit
Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
The Legend of Zelda: The Minish Cap
WarioWare Inc.: Mega Microgames!
Kuru Kuru Kururin

Nintendo did indicate it will add new games later hinting at other titles. Some of those included Game Boy Advance titles such as Metroid Fusion, Fire Emblem, Golden Sun, F-Zero: Maximum Velocity, and Kirby & the Amazing Mirror.

Some Game Boy titles teased included The Legend of Zelda: Oracle of Seasons and Ages, Kirby’s Tilt ‘n’ Tumble, and Pokémon Trading Card Game.
