Everything Announced at Nintendo Direct February 2023

Earlier this week, Nintendo surprised everyone with news that they would be hosting their first Nintendo Direct of the year set to go live February 8th at 2PM PST / 5PM EST / 10PM GMT. Ahead of the 40-minute live stream on their official YouTube channel, Nintendo flagged they would be sharing updates on switch titles coming out in the first half of 2023.

There was hope from gamers everywhere that we will see gameplay footage of the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild‘s sequel, Tears of the Kingdom and Bayonetta Origins: Cereza and the Lost Demon, updates on No More Heroes III, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, and Kirby’s Return to Dream Land Deluxe, alongside the rumored announcement of an official release date for Pikmin 4.

In addition to the possibility of another Super Mario Bros. title with the upcoming theatrical release of The Super Mario Bros. Movie on April 7th, there were even more far-reaching rumors of a new Golden Sun or even updates on Metroid Prime 4.

Needless to say, Nintendo had plenty to unveil during the stream. We’ve rounded up everything you need to know on what they and their third-party partners have planned for the upcoming months.
