After much speculation and impatient waiting, Nintendo just announced that there will be a Nintendo Direct tomorrow, Wednesday February 8th, at 2 PM PST. The livestream is said to feature roughly 40 minutes of information mostly focused on Nintendo Switch games launching the first half of 2023. A few key take aways:

• The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom launches in May, so it is a safe bet that we will get some more information about that highly anticipated game.
• Though the direct is said to focus mostly on Nintendo Switch games, I’d guess we will see a new trailer for the upcoming Super Mario Bros. Movie and more information on Super Nintendo World, which opens in California this month.
• Much of the latter half of 2023 isn’t known. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a tease of what’s to come.
