Tin Hearts–an immersive puzzle adventure–will release April 20.
Rogue Suns (a team composed of veterans from Lionshead Studios’ Fable series) developed the game while Wired Productions published it. Tin Hearts will be exclusive to Nintendo Switch for a month.
The developers describe Tin Heart’s gameplay as:
March through over 40 levels of time-bending, soldier-routing riddles, forge new paths for your toys to follow, and solve increasingly elaborate puzzles to unravel the emotional, thought-provoking story of Albert J. Butterworth, a genius inventor of Victorian times.
Reece Cobb, Rogue Sun developer, narrates the below gameplay trailer.
“We’re honored to be working closely with Nintendo to bring Tin Hearts exclusively to the Nintendo Switch on its April 20th launch,” Kostas Zarifis, managing director at Rogue Sun, said. “After winning ‘Most Anticipated Nintendo Switch Game’ at Gamescom last year we wanted to celebrate all the love we’ve been receiving from the Nintendo community and this timed exclusive launch felt like a great way to do just that.”
“Launching games is getting tougher, sometimes it is worth mixing things up,” Leo Zullo, managing director at Wired Productions, said. “With the love shown by Nintendo and Nintendo fans, it made sense to give those players a chance to experience the wholesome Tin Hearts…especially before Zelda comes and takes over.”
Tin Hearts will release on Nintendo Switch April 20. On May 16, the game will be available on PC (Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, and Utomik), PlayStation 4 and 5, and Xbox consoles. PCVR, Meta Quest 2, and PSVR2 versions are expected to release later this year.
