Raiders of the Lost Ark Returns to Theatres

The original Indiana Jones film will return to theatres soon. Fathom Events will host Raiders of the Lost Ark at theatres around the United States on June 4 & 7.

A perennial audience favorite, Raiders of the Lost Ark often plays in local theatres. But nation-wide showings are more rare, only showing up every 5 to 10 years. If you’re looking to enjoy it on the big screen, this will be your best chance for some time.

Raiders of the Lost Ark is, of course, the story of an adventurous archaeologist, Indiana Jones, who is hired by the United States government to stop the Nazis from acquiring the Ark of the Covenant. Along the way he encounters an old flame, literal flames, and holy flames. Directed by Steven Spielberg, and produced by Lucasfilm, Raiders of the Lost Ark is often considered one of the all-time great motion pictures.
