As a conclusion of their Thursday Geeked Week Showcase, Netflix released the highly anticipated teaser trailer of their live action Avatar the Last Airbender show.
Inspired off the hit Nickelodeon animated series, Avatar the Last Airbender follows the adventures of an airbender named Aang who is the last living member of the Airbending nation.
The four nations of the world once lived in harmony, with the Avatar, master of all four elements, keeping peace between them. But everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked and wiped out the Air Nomads, the first step taken by the firebenders towards conquering the world.
Avatar the Last Airbender comes to Netflix February 22nd.

I’m not sure how to feel about this trailer. It certainly looks the part (better than Shymalan’s ever did), but given that the creators of ATLA stepped away from this project awhile ago, I have to wonder how it will turn out. On the plus side the bending effects looks a lot better and the characters resemble themselves.
