On top of announcing co-op mode in their first appearance at an American convention, Envision Entertainment also shared a roadmap for later updates coming throughout 2024 to Pioneers of Pagonia.
While the highly anticipated co-op mode is coming in early April, there are three more major updates along with numerous quality of life updates planned for the game as it continues on to the final product.
The next one is anticipated in June and will further develop their mining system. This will allow your settlers to gather additional resources and they can continue down further into the earth. You will finally be able to obtain steel and gold which will help enhance your good and your troops.
Later this year in Q3, an update to the magic system will be coming. While there is some access to this at the time of print, this update will greatly expand the system. Players will be introduced to a magical academy where they can train warlocks and sorcerers.
In addition, Envision Entertainment announces that Q4 2024 will not be without a major update. At this time, they are unsure what that will entail as they want to hear from the community as to what they want to see most in this update.
While this alone may seem like a lot, there is plenty more the team at Envision Entertainment is looking to tackle. They want to establish support for the modding community, expand their objective types, add more lore and backstory, and more.
One thing that they shared with Boss Rush Network is that they are working to create decorations for your town as that has been a popular request amongst their community.
They also plan to add new and bigger maps as the year progresses.
Pioneers of Pagonia is available in Early Access on Steam.
