Players can escape the doom and gloom of Davokar Forest in Free League Publishing’s latest Symbaroum expansion: Symbaroum: Agrella — City of Eternal Euphoria. Releasing in early 2025, the adventure module is available to pre-order with immediate access to an alpha PDF.
This adventure is a 176-page, full color, hardcover book designed by Erik Hylander (Symbaroum: Adventure Pack 4), co-written with Marco Zamorano-Tóth, and illustrated by Gustaf Ekelund (Blade Runner The Roleplaying Game) with cover art by Grant Griffin.
The festival season is drawing close in Agrella, and it will be a season like no other. On the surface, nothing seems out of the ordinary – jester troupes are honing their performances, brewers are refining their recipes, mask-makers are sketching out the year’s novelties, and among the population at large, excitement is rising every day. But nothing is as it should be; in reality, the threat against Agrella and its inhabitants has never been greater. The question is, will someone notice the lurking dangers in time to avert the looming catastrophe?
The book contains the written campaign The Outrage of Betrayed Brethen, which is broken across three adventures set in Agrella’s festivals: “Intrigue,” “Assassination,” and “Chaos.” Supporting the adventure, the book contains a thorough account of Agrella’s history, activities, factions, and conflicts which may be read by both players and the Game Master, and a selection of establishments where players can eat, rest, party, and search. A double-sided color map, 588 by 432 mm, which is separate from the book itself. The Game Master receives their own chapter about the conspiracies and plot hooks that make up the city.
The book requires the Symbaroum Core Rulebook, and operates best in support with the Advanced Player’s Guide, Game Master’s Guide, and Monster Codex.
