Ah, the beloved spider queen that graces The Legend of Zelda series time and time again. The Gohma in Echoes of Wisdom was nothing short of a fantastic trip down memory lane filled with fun battle mechanics. Here are some tips and tricks for taking Her Majesty down!
Note: Locations to find the referenced Echos are at the bottom of the article.
Primary Objective
In this rendition of a Gohma boss fight, her weakness is in the green crystals on her legs that you must destroy to get to her eye. She will alternate between positions on the wall, ceiling, and ground.
- Recommended Echos: Electric Keese and/or Electric Wizrobe if Gohma is on the wall. Buzz Blobs can be used when Gohma is on the ground.

Gohmas attacks include:
- Spitting out webs to slow you down. Burn them with fire Echoes like the Ignizol.
- Hurling eggs. Destroy them before they hatch or as soon as possible.

- On the ground, Gohma can charge at you, slashing with her pincers.

- Sometimes she does a spin attack! Move away when she starts winding up.

- Gohma also uses a laser eye, much like Gohma from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Keep moving! If you’re lucky, she will kill off her own babies this way.

Once you’ve destroyed those crystals, she will topple over.
- Use Swordfighter Mode and any offensive Echoes to hack and slash away at her eye.
- Recommended Echoes: fast melee enemy types like Wolfos, Lizalfos, and Moblins.

As she takes on more damage, Gohma will hop between ceiling and wall at a fast and unpredictable rate, throwing her entire arsenal of attacks with minimal time in between. Things may get chaotic but keep attacking those cyrstals until you take her down.
