Infinity Nikki has limited-time four-star outfit banners that appear near the end of the update. These banners feature only a four-star outfit and it has a lower pity rate. The lower pity rate allows players to get a piece of the limited four-star outfit in just five pulls. Additionally, the banners use Revelation Crystals. These crystals are for the limited banners. This creates the question of whether or not players should pull on the banner. While that is ultimately up to the player, there are a few reasons why they should consider it.
At it’s core, Infinity Nikki is a dress-up game. While gacha aspects exist, there is no reason to pull for an outfit the player does not like. If the four-star outfits are more appealing to the player in style and looks, then they should pull for that instead. Of course, five-star pieces will score better in the styling challenges, but that is something that can easily be handled with other pieces or clothing items that exist in game. Players can comfortably complete any styling challenges and Mira Crown updates with the clothing available from the open world. There are five-star pieces that exist within the game itself and do not always need to be pulled from the banners.

The game’s banners are primarily aesthetic and preference-based. While each outfit is unique and has some effect on gameplay, it is extremely minimal. There are no concerns about power creeping in the future. While some outfits have abilities associated with them, the ones necessary for gameplay are provided to the players for free. Players do not need a five-star outfit to succeed in the game and therefore do not need to worry about regretting it later if they skip the five-star banners for the four-star ones.
Players should pull for the outfits they prefer regardless of star ranking. Don’t feel compelled to skip the four-star banners just because they are four-stars. If the outfits featured on them appeal to the players, they should go ahead and pull for them. It isn’t a waste of Revelation Crystals, as they’ll get a piece of the limited outfit every five pulls. That means that, if an outfit has 10 pieces, they’ll get the full outfit in 50 pulls. Each crystal is 120 diamonds, which means the outfit would cost at maximum 6,000 diamonds. Compare that to the cost of the five-star outfits and the pity on those banners, this is a steal to get the outfit the player wants.

In a game about dress-up, the banners are made to reflect that. Each outfit is unique and beautiful, but are not made with any combat in mind. Players should choose to pull the outfits they want, instead of pulling for outfits due to them being five-stars.
What do you think? Should players skip the four-star banners? Or should they pull on them? Let us know in the comments below or join the Boss Rush Discord to continue the conversation.
