Here is a list of known indie video game publishers and their plans on releasing physical Switch 2 media in alphabetical order. This is current as of June 3rd, 2025 and will be updated as needed.

Comment: When speaking with their marketing representative at PAX East 2025, I was able to confirm that any Limited Run numbered release for the Switch 2 will contain the full game on the cartridge, aka. a true physical release. Game released as a partnership (and therefore, not a numbered release) may be published as a game-key card, leaving the decision to the third party. Source: Boss Rush Network

In early 2024, we started to include our “Certificate of Physicality” inside every game, solidifying our commitment that all of our games can be played from start to finish without the need for internet, downloads, or DLC.
