Beyond its legacy with Destiny, Halo, and Marathon, Bungie is also known for its impactful charity work through the Bungie Foundation. As the studio’s official nonprofit arm, the foundation focuses on children’s health, disaster relief, and promoting inclusion and equity. Through initiatives like the Little Lights program, global humanitarian aid, and community-driven events, the foundation aims their sights on meaningful, real-world change.

To celebrate these efforts, Bungie established Bungie Day, an annual event held on July 7 that brings the Destiny 2 community together for a mix of charity, fundraising, rewards, and fun. As the launch of The Edge of Fate expansion approaches, players can donate or start fundraisers through Tiltify to support the Bungie Foundation—and in return, unlock exclusive in-game items like emblems, an emote and shader combo, a Sunshot exotic hand cannon ornament, and even a unique exotic ship for top-tier fundraisers.
Donations help support programs like Little Lights, which brings joy to kids in hospitals, and disaster relief efforts. Bungie is offering a mix of returning and brand-new rewards for supporters who contribute during the event, which can be viewed on Bungie’s website here.

One of the highlights is the return of the Seventh Column Chaos PvP Tournament, with the theme being “Underdogs.” In this tournament, sixteen teams will compete in chaotic Crucible matches full of modifiers and surprises. Players and fans can watch the action online, vote on chaos modifiers, and support their favorite teams. More announcements will be made via Bungie’s social media channels soon.
Bungie Day also shines a light, no pun intended, on inspiring stories, like Tucker, a cancer survivor who used his Make-A-Wish to donate gaming consoles to a children’s hospital. His story shows the real impact of the Bungie community.
Bungie Day is a celebration of what players can accomplish together—on and off the battlefield. Head to the Bungie Foundation website for more information on how you can support them.
