So, Then I Just Backed it: A Series on My Kickstarter Adventures (Part 16) Year 4

9–14 minutes

Another Year has gone by and another round of Kickstarter campaigns that I have personally backed. I can’t believe it is year 4 already of me writing this series. It has been so satisfying to back new and upcoming projects as well as get to interview some new faces and familiar companies this past year.

This past year I interviewed 3 different individuals on 3 different projects. In Part 13  I interviewed Mike Bedsole on his Game Boy style game Kero Kero Cowboy, and I also got a copy to play and review.  In Part 14 I interviewed Philip Summers on his future release of his Hand Drawn Game Guide: Mega Man. Lastly in Part 15 I had the pleasure of interviewing Irina Moreno from Chibig on their latest game Elusive. This year I had some amazing opportunities to interact and dive into the minds of some great people. Who will be next?

I wanted to express that I have had a great desire to be able to partake in a Kickstarter campaign so if you have a future project and I have the talent or knowledge you need to get the job done please reach out and ask. Also please check out my past articles and if you are interested in an interview, please contact me and let me know.

As we go through this year’s list of backed campaigns, let’s bring up the previous year’s statistics versus this year. Last year I had a total of 140 backed campaigns with 39 successful backed projects from September 2023 – September 2024 leaving off at 114 that have been successful over the years. So, looking at this year’s statistics I am at 224 backed with a total of 44 successful campaigns. Let’s have a look.
