They also break down Netflix’s surprise plan to buy Warner Bros. Streaming & Studios for about $82.7 billion, a move that would bring major game studios like Rocksteady and NetherRealm under the Netflix banner if it goes through. From there, the duo discusses Yacht Club Games, which says its long-awaited, Zelda-like Mina the Hollower needs strong sales to keep the studio on solid ground.
They also look at CD Projekt Red’s ambitious claim that it will release its entire new Witcher trilogy within six years—a timeline many fans and analysts doubt is realistic.
On the Switch 2 front, a strange Pikmin 4 listing briefly hinted at an upgraded version before Nintendo pulled it, and a new datamine has fans hoping for Donkey Kong Bananza content in Mario Kart World.
