Nintendo highlighted several upcoming independent games during its October 28 Indie World Showcase, featuring new adventures, cooperative experiences, and updates on titles heading to the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
The roughly 15-minute presentation gave players a look at games arriving throughout the remainder of 2026 and into 2027, including Winds of Aridia, City of None, Tenjutsu, and Slime Rancher 2.
Winds of Aridia opened the showcase, introducing an action-adventure game where players explore a lost civilization, battle dangerous creatures, and uncover hidden relics. The game launches on Nintendo Switch 2 in early 2027, with a free demo announced for October 28.
Another highlight was City of None, an action-puzzle platformer from one of Celeste‘s co-creators. Players explore five distinct city sectors, battle enemies, and upgrade equipment. The game arrives on both Switch systems in 2027.
The presentation also featured Tenjutsu, a fast-paced martial arts roguelike from a designer of Dead Cells, alongside cooperative games Dumpster Gang, Super Battle Golf, R.E.P.O., and Haunted Paws.
Several additional release dates were revealed. Spirit Crossing, a collaborative life simulation game from the creators of Cozy Grove, launches November 16, while Ratcoin Chaos Max Edition arrives November 10.
Other featured titles included Threads of Time, Kitsune: The Journey of Adashino, Petal Runner, and My Arms Are Longer Now. Nintendo also showcased several smaller upcoming releases, including Everything Is Crab and Lost and Found Co.
