2020 was a huge year for PlayStation fans. With the release of a brand new console, three hit first party games, and some terrific State of Plays, Sony stayed trued to their greatness that they are known for. When sales numbers were released this week, a lot of great games seemed to have done good numbers, but most notably Spider-Man: Miles Morales has now outsold Ghost Of Tsushima and The Last Of Us Part II.
For the past 5 months, according to the NPD Group, Spider-Man: Miles Morales has surpassed its 4.1 million sales from December 2020 and has stayed on the top 5 best selling categories for PlayStation Platforms and All-Time sales. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 title by Insomniac games reviewed well from critics and players. It currently holds a 85% score at Metacritic.

With The Last Of Us Part II winning major awards for Sony, it has sold more than 4 million copies worldwide. Sucker Punch’s newest IP, Ghost Of Tsushima, has sold 6.5 million copies as of March 2021. Fantastic numbers for PlayStation. Additionally, Spider Man: Miles Morales is sitting at 18.3 units sold since 2/21.
As more PlayStation 5 consoles become available, Spider-Man: Miles Morales numbers can continue to grow.
