Nintendo Finally Adds Bluetooth Audio in Latest Switch Update

The News:

Nintendo announced a surprise software update today regarding a feature that many have been asking for since the Switch’s 2017 release: Bluetooth Audio. The news directly from Nintendo provides details on the setup that can be found in the system settings for the Switch. See the details are shown below:

The setup process is quick and simple. Follow the steps below to enjoy the long awaited feature for the Nintendo Switch.

Personal Experience:

I used my Samsung Buds Pro to test out the latency with the audio while playing the Contra Anniversary Collection and The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD, and the results were behind by about one second. This may not be as noticeable with other games, but I found the delay to be off enough to be annoying. Hopefully this is something that can be adjusted as this was only tested for a few minutes.

So what do you think of this newly added feature? Are you one of the many fans that have been wondering when this missing feature would be added to the Switch?
