Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Sequel to be Revealed Before E3

2–3 minutes

Respawn’s Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order was a unanimous hit, garnering praise from all corners of gaming culture. Cal Kestis and his friends gave everyone a proper 3D Metroidvania that felt inspired and meaningful without feeling overwhelming. It’s fresh look at events taking place between Episodes III and IV seamlessly merged the prequel and original trilogy’s tech, locations, and more without feeling forced (pardon the pun).

Now, the Jedi Padawan may be making his grand return, as industry insider Jeff Grub revealed on his Giant Bomb show Grubbsnax that the sequel may be revealed before E3 2022, stating that EA and Respawn want to show of the game “in a significant way” before the show. My personal guess would be on Star Wars Day, May 4th.

Giant Bomb’s Grubbsnax

There has been no official word from EA or Respawn about Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2, but based off of the game’s success and EA’s recent commitment to single player experiences, this announcement doesn’t seem far fetched in any way. EA still holds the exclusive rights to release Star Wars games until 2023, so expect to see Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 to release sometime in the next twelve to eighteen months.

One response to “Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order Sequel to be Revealed Before E3”

  1. […] Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order 2 is Rumored to be Revealed before E3 2022, claim multiple sources. Star Wars Jedi Fallen Order was a bonafide hit for Respawn, capturing the events between episodes III and IV seamlessly while introducing players to an exciting cast of new characters in a true 3D Metroidvania world. All signs point to a Star Wars Day reveal. A quick reminder that EA holds the Star Wars license until 2023 with this would mark only the 5th major title in 10 years. https://bossrush.net/2022/01/07/star-wars-jedi-fallen-order-sequel-to-be-revealed-before-e3/ […]
