Welcome to another weekly update of what’s going on in the world of Nintendo! Starting off the week we saw Breath of the Wild 2 be delayed until spring 2023 in a Tweet shared by Nintendo. I for one am okay with the delay considering how many great titles are coming out for the Switch this year. Time will only tell when we get a new morsel of information on the game though.
Next up, in sad news, we will not be seeing an E3 presentation this year. Debates have sparked all over the intern as if we even really need E3 anymore, and I think we do. I’m going to miss the hype that surrounds the event this year. I really enjoyed everyone being able to celebrate their hype for gaming in general all at once. I hope it comes back next year.
Lastly, we saw three new titles coming to SNES online. Earthworm Jim 2 was always a favorite of mine when I was a kid, so I’m happy to see it come to Switch.
