This morning famous publisher 505 Games delivered their very first ever digital showcase event in the company’s 15-year history. Hang with us as we take a moment to bring you up to speed on what was shown today at the showcase.

Among The Trolls

Starting things off, the studio brought us a trailer along with the first look at their new game Among The Trolls developed by Forbidden Studios.

In Among The Trolls, we got to hear the recalling of a tale from your grandmother in which every forest, meadow, and lake has its own kind of folk that you must keep happy by sacrificing something to them. While returning to Finland to see your grandparents, a giant sea creature destroys your boat and you awaken in a forest, unaware of where you are or why you’re there. 

Among The Trolls is being developed in the Unity engine and will be coming to Early Access on Steam sometime soon.

Stray Blade

Although it had been previously announced, developer Point Blank Games gave us a new look at the upcoming adventure title Stray Blade.

Gamers take on the role of an anthropologist from another land who explores the ancient ruins of a mysterious civilization. After accidentally breaking a 1000-year-old spell that blocks a valley to an unknown place you encounter a small wolf-man who becomes your companion. Together, you must uncover and explore Acrea, which has seemingly become your new home since you can’t leave until a bunch of magical shards embedded in your chest are removed.

Rife with crafting and magic-based combat, unlock the mysteries of Acrea and its different biomes. The combat looks fun and players will employ their mastery of weaponry while surviving run-ins with the various warring factions of the land.

Players will get a chance to check out Stray Blade later this year when it goes into beta on PlayStation, Xbox, and PC.

Miasma Chronicles

Closing off the show, we had a world premiere announcement trailer of Miasma Chronicles, from the studio The Bearded Ladies

From the creators of Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden comes a beautifully crafted tactical adventure you won’t forget. Embark on a quest across a post-apocalyptic wasteland torn apart by a savage force known only as the ‘Miasma’.

There was not a lot discussed around Miasma Chronicles, and we are sure we’ll be seeing more of this game in the months to come. The trailer definitely gives off some FullMetal Alchemist vibes though!

Eiyuden Chronicles: Rising has barely been out of the gates a week but that didn’t keep 505 Games from giving us a refresher of the game, focusing on gameplay and giving a tour of the overall game along with the first look at Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising, Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, which is being developed by Rabbit & Bear Studios which features veteran developers from the great gaming titles Suikoden and Castlevania.
