Cloud Version Of Resident Evil Village Plus More Coming in Time For Halloween On Nintendo Switch

1–2 minutes

Evil is brewing on the Nintendo Switch with a cloud version of Resident Evil Village coming to Nintendo Switch on October 28th, 2022. The game is just in time for Halloween and if that wasn’t enough of a treat Capcom is giving us a bit more. On December 2nd, 2022, we will also receive Winters Expansion DLC. Currently a short cloud demo is available from the Nintendo online store where you can test out the game in the castle dungeon. Nintendo did place a disclaimer on the full game, stating the user must successfully test and pass the minimum requirements for internet connection to purchase it.

In addition to all the news from Capcom on Resident Evil Village, Capcom is also releasing three more titles before the end of the year. These include Resident Evil 7 Biohazard, and the remakes of Resident Evil 2 and Resident Evil 3. Hopefully all the cloud releases are good ports and can run decent on the Nintendo Switch. Let us hope that if these run and sell well on the Nintendo Switch that we will also get a version of Resident Evil 4 remake in March.

Are you excited to get the latest Resident Evil games on the Switch? Do you think the cloud versions will work well or be less than stellar? What is your favorite Resident Evil game? Let us know your thoughts about these horror games coming to the Nintendo Switch.
