Nintendo released on October 31 firmware update 15.0.1 for the Switch console; version 15.0.0 came out earlier in the month.
As usual, the latest update doesn’t address too much, but does help resolve Error Code 2181-1000, and an issue with taking screenshots. Nintendo has provided the full patch notes, which can be viewed below:
*Resolved an issue causing Error Code: 2181-1000 to appear when playing DLC from a console other than your primary console.
*Resolved an issue preventing screenshots during specific in-game scenes for some games.
*General system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience.

In addition, reputable Nintendo dataminer OatmealDome has also uncovered that the Japanese “bad words list” has been updated, with the phrases to tell someone to “disappear” or “get lost” being banned, along with telling someone to “shut up.”
The console’s web browser and some system apps were also updated, likely as part of general stability.
For most users, the system update will download automatically. Those that have automatic updates turned off can force the update to be applied by going to the “System” tab and selecting the “System Update” option.
