An End to Marvel’s Avengers Game Announced by Crystal Dynamics

Marvel’s Avengers, developed by Crystal Dynamics and published by Square Enix, is an online multiplayer game. Released in August of 2020, the game received luke-warm scores, over the past two plus years it received updates that expanded the gameplay with heroes such as Spider-man and Black Panther. New content will stop appearing in the game on March 31st 2023.

Later this year on September 30th, 2023, all support for Marvel’s Avengers will discontinue and will be removed from digital stores. Though this is a fairly short span of time for a game to be released, supported, and discontinued Crystal Dynamics will allow single-player and multiplayer modes to be playable.

Also, some other things to note are on March 31st 2023 all of the games cosmetics will be made free to players. Current players who have any real-world currency tied into the game will be automatically converted into in-game resources. This is a way to thank the community for their support and experience all the content in Marvel’s Avengers.
