Last week, Nintendo released eight new tracks in Wave 4 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass, including the brand new Yoshi’s Island track, which – if you haven’t played it yet, stop what you are doing and play it right now. This will be here when you get back.

In addition to the eight new wonderful courses, Nintendo also released Birdo and announced that more characters would be released in future waves. Now that we are able to play the new courses, we can see that Nintendo plans to add at least five more characters, as there are five question marks under Birdo:

Who do you want to see Nintendo add to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe? Personally, I would love it if the game tied in a bit to the upcoming Super Mario Bros Movie and the remaining five characters were the movie versions of Mario, Luigi, Princess Peach, Toad, and Bowser. It would be even better if one of the future tracks was a new version of Rainbow Road that has been teased in many of the film’s trailers.
