Storm arrives in the tactical strategy game Marvel’s Midnight Suns on May 11, as part of the “Blood Storm” DLC. On the same date, the game launches on Xbox 1 and PlayStation 4 with all DLC available. The Nintendo Switch version has been canceled. Due to the game’s poor sales, it seems this is the end of the road for the game. No further expansions or updates have been announced.
Developed by Firaxis Games, who also developed the XCOM revival series, Marvel’s Midnight Suns is loosely based on the 1992 comic storyline Midnight Sons. Both versions largely tell the same story, as heroes battle against Lilith and demonic and/or Lovecraftian cults. However, in the game, many of Marvel’s horror characters have been replaced with superheroes familiar to the MCU audience.
What do you think? If the game does have more characters added, who would you like to see? Let us know in the comments below or join the discussion on our Discord channel.
