Announcement Out of QuakeCon Reveals Quake II Remaster Available Now.

An enhanced version of Quake II, originally released in December of 1997, has been released. The game that is a tactile and fast-paced action FPS, much like Doom, was id Software’s second franchise. The game takes place in 2065 and Earth has fallen under attack by the Strogg. Because of the lives that were lost, war was our answer.

The enhanced remastered version includes:

  • The original game
  • Both previous expansions
  • A new expansion – Call of the Machine
  • Quake II 64
  • Both online or local multiplayer and co-op

Play where you feel most comfortable on all major platforms. The game is selling for 9.99 US Dollars.

Did you play the original Quake or Quake II games? Did you like Quake or Doom better? Would you like to see a new Quake game made in modern day visuals and enhanced gameplay? Let us know your thoughts.
