Wholesome Games is hosting a Steam Celebration, which will be held between August 15th and 21st. There will be a heap of announcements, sales, demos, and new game drops. There’s definitely a lot to celebrate, including the announcement of a survival crafting base builder, Wasteland Waste Disposal.
Do you think you can survive and reverse the works of humanity?

Finnish dev Kluk Digital will be bringing us an intriguing open-world crafting game in the setting of a post-apocalyptic wasteland. In this sim, you will manage a waste refinement fortress–so you aren’t just trying to make it another day–but you are also trying to recycle and rebuild the world as it once was.

Like in many post-apocalyptic games, you will encounter various sectors of humanity and volatile weather conditions. What sets Wasteland Waste Disposal apart is the focus on a real-life issue we are all witnessing: pollution and its devastating impact on our world. Many of us are frustrated at the snail’s paced effort to negate the consequences of waste and pollution, and the theme can be felt in this game.
You have the ability to share the fate of different biomes. The environment will react to your actions to clear and recycle, all the while, you will stumble upon hundreds of collectables to make the experience memorable. Continue to upgrade your fortress while recruiting helpers in your endeavor! Crew members will provide a diverse set of skills such as recycling, defense, and… bioengineering. You don’t see that everyday!
