As we return to the quangled chaos of time, our Intrepid Heroes reconfigured, drawing new characters. While Barry 6 and Rowan Berry came back up, the rest of our heroes were recast as they returned to the Neverafter. Without a single character from that dark realm, the quangle set a challenge for Brennan, but opening with the Wurst, we start with Margaret and Barry in a stand-off without a clue how to proceed after their success at capturing the head of the Guernican Art Squad, Natalia Cicero Connie Lee Carter Bajar.
The ghost of Snow White possesses Natalia, and as Margaret clings to Barry, the magical undead princess drags the pair through the time quangle.
While those two stumbled from the same time, Siobhan and Emily appeared to be out of sync with Emily’s Sofia still reeling from the divorce at the beginning of her character arc while Rowan appeared to be in her post-deaging youthful form. In the midst of this chaos, Snow White’s song commands cockroaches to capture the pair, dragging them into the quangle with Margaret and Barry.
Gorgug stumbles onto the scene alongside his van, immediately recognizing what is going on and that they’re quangling in pairs. As an artificer, he’s more informed than any of the characters have been previously.

The group gathers in the Hangvan, flying through the chaos toward the Neverafter, and Arthur Aguefort speaks through the radio, but a giant cockroach turns on them, sending the mismatched team into combat. Rowan charms the cockroach, making it feel emotionally small.
Though I assumed Brennan let the temporal disparity slide between Sofia and Rowan, he never missed a beat, having Sofia’s current post-divorce state be an error in the timeline. A giant pigeon attacks, but this time, Margaret charms him, convincing the bird to fly them out of danger; unfortunately, Snow White summons her true compatriots, the spectral dwarves.
Gorgug enters a rage, but despite incredibly high rolls, the ghosts note that the barbarian artificer cannot kill what is already dead. Leaping into the fray with bobby pins like claws, Sofia defeats the dwarf. However, to Gorgug’s horror, another enemy joins the fray – Baron.

Like Snow White and Natalia, Baron has mixed with Lucienne Rex. Immediately, the Lucienne aspects lock onto Margaret. A Nat 1 sends Margaret into the fires, but her ability to call the guards allows Barry to intercede, sending Baron Lucienne Rex into the fires instead.
Arthur Aguefort instructs “the beefy himbo” to find and eat cheese to correct the timeline. He also admits that Gorgug is the only person who can kill him, which opens some questions for senior year when it comes around.
Hunting down a cheesemonger, the group discover an impish man. Rowan cuts through the flowery prose, but with the hurdle being 30, her role of 29 isn’t high enough to stop him. However, recognizing the imp as Rumplestiltskin, she manages to prevent Barry from trading his first born but not from losing his credit card.
With almost forty minutes left, we should’ve guessed this wasn’t the clean wrap-up that it seemed, and sure enough, instead of cheese in the box, we get a Dairy Islands invasion as Captain Annabelle Cheddar attacks. Immediately, Margaret is enamored. Annabella returns the interest, calming enough to discuss the quangle. They end up going forward, but the second month’s cheesebox is Monterey Jack. Margaret manages to slice a corner off the pirate, and upon eating it, Barry transforms as Brian Murphy’s character switches to Kugrash.
The creatures of New York quickly break the spell upon seeing him, and gathering around, they send the group to the old lady who lives in the shoe, who reveals she has eaten her children. The cannibal attacks, but Rowan removes her guise, showing her wings and aura as a queen of faerie. With Annabelle Cheddar and Monterey Jack influencing the quangle, Rowan becomes the Sugar Plum Fairy.

As the old lady flees, Snow White appears, monologuing. The undead princess tries to kill Sofia, awakening the Staten Island native’s ire. Giving Rapunzel a bob and cutting down the Beast, Sofia stuns Snow White, taking down all three princesses.
The doorways open and our heroes return to their original timelines.
Highlights
Between patriotic cockroaches with external loci of self-worth and Sofia’s certainty that they were in New Jersey, the banter was on point. Emily Axford was definitely MVP. Every line that came out of her was a winner, absolutely knocking it out of the park with her witty quips.

Rowan being unable to say with certainty she wasn’t Gorgug’s mom opens a unique avenue, which I’m sure some fans will jump on, but I’m not sure we’re ready for a half-fae Gorgug.
Final Score (5 out of 5 Stars)
What at first seemed an error became a pivotal point in this incredible improv show! Every single one of our Intrepid Heroes came out swinging, and while Emily Axford certainly stole the show with her iconic quick wit, but every single player brought the attitude.
The rest of the live shows are scheduled to come out in December. Let us know in the comments below what sort of crossovers you’re excited to see or go over to our Discord channel to join the conversation!
