Farming materials is an important part of Infinity Nikki, as that is how players can craft new outfits or clothing pieces in-game. However, these clothing pieces can become expensive. Some materials in-game, such as Astral Swan Feathers, can only be farmed once a day. Others are boss drops that players have to spend energy to obtain. There are even some that only appear during certain weather conditions or times of the day. Whatever it is, a lot of these materials can be time-consuming to get. This becomes a major issue for players who have busy schedules and don’t have a lot time to farm materials.
Of course, Infold Games has already added some features that make farming easier. There is the ability to use the Pear Pal to get materials without having to go out and farm for them. However, not all materials are available within the “Dig, Pear Pal” menu. Additionally, there is a Quick Challenge feature for Realm of the Dark, Realm of Eureka, and Realm of Breakthrough challenges. This makes farming a little bit easier, but getting open-world materials can still be time-consuming.

Fishing, especially, takes up time in the game. While the other materials from grooming and bug catching take mere moments, fishing has a type of mini-game that needs to be played in order to catch a fish. This means that players spend more time fishing than they would with any other type of material farming. Additionally, fishing is somewhat randomized. The fish that players catch is not guaranteed to be the fish they need, especially as there is a drop rate associated with the fish. Certain fish are more likely to be caught, while others are less likely. On top of this, some fish take longer in the mini-game than others based on the rarity of the fish.
Something that could help with the farming issue would be the ability outfits. For example, Rainy Orchids are difficult to farm as rain is not something that players control. If players could craft or pull for an ability outfit that summoned rain, getting Rainy Orchids would be a lot less difficult. There’s also the idea of a fishing ability outfit that allows players to spend less time on the mini game, or override the mini game entirely, to give players an easier time getting fish.
