Numbers began to dwindle on the fourth and final day of PAX West, but it was far from dead! The Boss Rush Network team refused to slow down as they tackled games and caught up with as many people as possible. Toward the end of our time at the convention, we also handed out our inaugural Game-of-Show awards.

The final day of PAX is always bittersweet. Saying goodbye to your colleagues that you’ve learned to work with and support is always hard, but saying goodbye to your best friends is always the hardest.
During our final day, I spent it roaming the show floor with Stephanie and Edward, handing out our last brand kits and our Game-of-Show Awards. We made our way over to the Summit building to see Guardians Mental Health one final time, scooping up some last-minute merchandise and souvenirs. Around noon, Ed and I met up with Sofi who hosted a great interview with Eric Barone, creator of Stardew Valley. We learned a lot about his process, his love for music, and his new game, The Haunted Chocolatier. Stephanie and I spent the rest of our day together walking through the indie booths and the art hall, gathering last minute souvenirs for us and our families back home.

PAX West had come and gone, but now we’re back to the grind anticipating our next events, but there will always be something special about Boss Rush at PAX. We travel big, we travel strong, and we push each other to create the best content possible. As excited as I was to be back, I am even more proud and humbled at the work our team put into the coverage. Here’s to PAX East in April 2027!

A medium latte and support from my colleagues were what kept me going throughout the final day of PAX West 2026. While I was eager to check out all that I’ve missed during the busier days, I realized that I just don’t have the energy I used to. Regardless of the exhaustion, I THOROUGHLY enjoyed day four because I covered the Expo hall with Corey and Ed to hand out the Game-of-Show awards. The reactions from the devs were rewarding in themselves, and I hope we continue to see these games flourish in the future.
Other than that, I got to play a few more games like Cattia and Midnight Callers and do some shopping! I’ve circled the Artist’s area several times. The creativity and talent in the room were inspiring, and I wish I had to budget and luggage space to buy everything. As we wrapped up, I thanked the PAX Enforcers and those that help put PAX together because without them, the event wouldn’t be a success. Cheers, and see you at the next event!

Oh, and I also got a stealth photo of Tim Schafer!

Day four of PAX West was very chill and our final day as a team together, covering the event. I finally got to play Rays of Hope and thoroughly enjoyed the game. Learning how to combo and changing the way of playing beat-em-ups, I was getting into the groove of things while nodding my head to the East Coast flavor of hip-hop. I am looking forward to the team development of the game.
Next, I finally got to try out Wrestling Story and was having a blast with its Paper Mario-like combat. The fights were funny as I had to pin enemies for them to leave the ring for that to be seen as them being defeated. It was a hoot, and I cannot wait to play more.

PAX West has officially wrapped up for the year. Looking back, I realized that every day for the past four days, I grew increasingly more grateful to the people and community surrounding me. Just today, I was able to make conversation and get to know not just developers or publishers, but the actual attendees and what they look forward to in events like this.
Another highlight from today was being able to reconnect with Concerned Ape. I first met the esteemed video game developer last year and being able to work with him again this year served a fitting conclusion to the event. None of this would be the same without the team here at Boss Rush Network. I’m grateful that I’m able to attend an event like PAX, but I’m even more grateful that I can attend with people who mean a lot to me.
