Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Lets You Text Amanda Waller

This Saturday (October 16), DC will present is second-annual Fandome event, where they are expected to showcase a variety of upcoming projects across TV, film, video games, and comics. The virtual event started last year and was well received, providing a look at all of the DC greatness that would be coming our way over the next year. This year, fans are hopeful to catch new glimpses of upcoming movies such as The Flash, The Batman and Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, as well as some potential gameplay for Gotham Knights and Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League. It’s the second game mentioned, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, that has already started it’s advertising campaign in the lead up to the event.

Earlier today on Twitter, the official account for the game posted a phone number, and nothing more. If you call the phone number, an audio clip will play of Amanda Waller, the person responsible for creating Task Force X, berating Harley Quinn for prank calling her. If you text the number, Waller will text you back and ask if you have A.R.G.U.S clearance to be speaking with her, sending you a link to register for said clearance.

It’s a tried and true advertising method to get people’s contact information to release more information about the upcoming game, but it is an excellent way to immerse players in the world even outside of the game itself. Hopefully, this is just the start of the promotional campaign for the game, and we are sure to learn more this Saturday, as the game is expected to make an appearance. Stay tuned to Boss Rush for more Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League information!
