This game looks wildly fascinating with the variety of overpowered looking weapons, the cute kittens and gruesome looking enemies. This looks so fast paced and exciting! Eiyuden Chronicle Rising

This 2-D platformer looks so marvelous, with up to three different characters to play as! There is a scavenger, mercenary and mage. Travel different landscapes fighting an array of enemies while trying to gather materials and upgrade equipment. Master Earth, lightening, ice and fire abilities to further progress to new areas. I really appreciate the rebuilding the town mechanic for making a sturdy adventurers hub. I absolutely can’t wait to dive into this fast paced combat and intriguing art style! Now available on the Nintendo eShop for $14.99 (USD).

Dungeons Of Dreadrock

Souldiers

This is my most anticipated indie game of May for my love of Metroidvanias! This platforming action-adventure game with RPG elements, has dynamic 16-bit graphics. In Souldiers, you can play as either a Scout, Caster, or Archer class. I’m curious to see if each character has a different story or if it’s just abilities. I absolutely cannot wait! Currently not listed on the eShop, so follow their Twitter for updates.

Deadcraft

Deadcraft is a top-down zombie apocalypse survival game, with a loot craft and fight system. You play as a half-human, half-zombie protagonist named Reid. I played a little of the demo on Nintendo Switch and found the fighting mechanics to be very satisfying using an axe as my main weapon to slash enemies down and a special zombie ability, where a giant deadly hand swings around and takes out a hoard of enemies. Fighting civilians or committing crimes in town will give you a wanted level, which can cool down, but I kept my peace with the townsfolk. Most of your time will be spent helping survivors and paying attention to hunger and energy to survive. The demo was fun and let’s you play chapter one and you can also pre-order on the Nintendo eShop for discounted price $22.49 (USD)
