God of War Ragnarök is unquestionably Sony’s hottest game still set to release this year, and a recent merchandise listing may hint that the game will arrive this September.
Twitter user The_Marmolade spotted on Thursday that retailer Geeky Zone in the UK has several God of War Ragnarök items up for pre-order, the majority of which will be shipping out to customers on September 30, 2022.
The listings have since been removed from the website.
The items listed include plushies of protagonists Kratos and Atreus, as well as a hat and a beanie bearing God of War style logos.
The September 30 release date reinforces a rumor that leaked last year, when PlayStation Database had temporarily listed God of War Ragnarök as coming out on that date. It was then quickly deleted.
All of this is pure speculation though, and until Sony or developer Santa Monica Studio provide an official update, then that’s all we have to rely upon.
