Boss Rush Banter: What is Your Fondest Memory of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Game?

To celebrate Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge, we look back at all the times we sat around, chomping on slices of Pizza Hut pizza and put on the pounding on foot ninjas. It’s been a long time since the boys in green hit our consoles and arcade cabinets. As a matter of fact, the last time the world was this excited to see the turtle boys spring into action was in Injustice 2.

I remember my brother and I sneaking at 1am to play Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Turtles in Time during school nights. I was usually Raphael because his fighting speed was amazing in this game while my brother was usually Leonardo for his balance. There was even the 100 times we played Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Arcade Game for the NES. Having such a blast, always competing to see which one of us would win the kiss from April O’Neil. Funny how I lost that bet most of the time, but boy did we have a great time. Good thing I always stole the pizza!

There are so many good memories I had playing with my brother and just playing those games, and it looks like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge is going to bring those happy memories back, and I can’t wait! I’ll try to be fair and share the pizza this time…maybe.

What about you guys? What memories do you have growing up playing your favorite Ninja Turtle games? Please share your thoughts with us on our Boss Rush Facebook Group or our Boss Rush Discord.
