A recent datamine suggests that the latest entry in Ubisoft’s popular Assassin’s Creed franchise could be making its way to Steam.

YoobieRe, a bot that is designed to pull data from the Ubisoft Connect and UPlay services, recently uncovered details of a Steam version in the Ubisoft Connect database.

The information was first shared on the SteamDB Discord server.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla first released in 2020 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Google Stadia, and Amazon Luna platforms; it also was available on PC only through Ubisoft Connect and the Epic Games Store.

Valve’s Steam service currently has most all other Assassin’s Creed titles, so including Valhalla would be a fitting choice. The recently released Steam Deck console also makes it an appealing place to rejuvenate the now two year-old game.

Currently, the data uncovered doesn’t hint at a release date for this potential Steam version, but datamining has proven to be a reliable method of finding unannounced information. This is due to the data being officially implemented into the database, but initially hidden or unconfirmed.
