In Nintendo’s reporting of their Q2 financials, it was revealed that the recent release of Kirby and the Forgotten Land was the second-highest-selling Kirby game. Since then, it has passed Kirby’s Dream Land to become the best-selling Kirby title.
Nintendo has confirmed that the game has sold an impressive 5.27 million putting it above Kirby’s Dreamland at 5.13 million.
Fans of the franchise hope that these promising numbers will incentivize Nintendo to put more attention on the franchise. With the release of Kirby’s Return to Dreamland in February 2023, the future looks promising for the franchise.
