New Hollow Knight Mod Adds 100+ Voice Actors

A massive team of modders came together to fully voice Team Cherry’s Hollow Knight. With over 100 voice actors, they set out to record virtually every line of text in the game from dialogue to item descriptions. If that weren’t enough, it also includes new music by MatDeiBrughi. This mod is only for PC versions of Hollow Knight.

The voice acting is generally wonderful. Many performances in the trailer stand out. Alycoris’s performance as Hornet particularly stands out, perfectly matching the voice I imagined. As do Dani Walsh as Iselda and the Mantis Lords performed by ZerOPM, Helen Birchall, and MiriShalyn.

Hallownest Vocalized can be played via the Scarab Mod Launcher. The team’s instructions are as follows:

1) Own Hollow Knight on your PC (available for purchase on Steam, pirated versions are not compatible with the mod!)

2) Download the Scarab Mod Launcher, available here. If you need a detailed walkthrough of the Scarab Launcher, I recommend Fireb0rn’s Complete Guide to Modding Hollow Knight (you only need to watch up to the 6:33 mark).

3) Upon opening the Scarab Launcher, use the search function to find “Hallownest Vocalized”, and click Install. Now you’re ready to play Hallownest Vocalized!
