Official Unreal Engine 5 Technical Trailer Showcased for Layers of Fear

Originally shown during Summer Game Fest in 2022, and known as Layers of Fears at the time, we were shown a beautiful trailer in Unreal Engine 5. Fast forward a bit and Blooper Team, the games developer,  changed the horror title from fears to fear, fearing some confusion. Recently we were gifted a new theatrical treat from the studio.

A new tech trailer was featured, and it looks so spectacular, especially in its low light situations. They are using Lumen, a new dynamic lighting system to achieve better reflections. The use of ray tracing will ramp up realism to create a more chilling atmosphere through life-like shadows. Using the Niagara system creates dynamic and more convincing particle effects.  Players on both PC and console can expect smooth 4k HDR and robust and rich sound. All of this to enhance your descent into fear, coming June 2023.
