On June 8, 2023, fans who have been anticipating the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 were finally rewarded with a release date.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will release on October 20, 2023.
This highly anticipated game will feature both Peter Parker and Miles Morales as Spider-Man.
It also features an expansive map that will cover Manhattan, Queens, and Brooklyn.
Hot Take From The Writer
First off, as someone who has a late October birthday, I happily accept Insomniac and Sony’s birthday present.
Secondly, combined with the game play we received two weeks ago, we gained a few more hints from the presentation at Summer Game Fest. With comments about how they wanted to create a story that we haven’t seen in movies and comics, it really opens the door for what they could do.
Also, my early thoughts were wrong. I thought based off that first look that we potentially were going to see a Peter vs. Miles final battle with venom.
I’m going to be waiting with much anticipation as the date draws closer.
