The latest Total War: Warhammer 3 expansion, Thrones of Decay, is available now. This update adds mechanics, heroes, and units for two of the earliest and most popular Warhammer factions, as well as the beloved Grandfather of Decay: the Empire, the Dwarfs, and the forces of the Chaos God Nurgle.
Elspeth von Draken, the Dark Lady of Nuln, has a campaign focused on the intersection of necromancy and gunpowder. Malakai Makaisson, disgraced Dwarf engineer, creates grand machines and craves nigh-unwinnable battles. Tamurkhan, the Maggot Lord, devours his foes and adds their strengths of those who could not defeat him to his army.
After significant backlash over the price and contents of recent DLC, Thrones of Decay is a return to the style and size that defined the first and second game’s expansions: 3 Legendary Lords each with their own campaign mechanics, 3 Legendary Heroes, 15 units, 3 Lords, 3 Heroes, and 9 Regiments of Renown. These Regiments of Renown include long-time favorites like the Dwarf Pirates of Long Drong.
Each faction can be bought individually for $8.99 or combined for just shy of $23.00
