Nintendo Direct announced Focus Entertainment’s newest game, MIO: Memories in Orbit coming 2025.
It is a platformer game where players control MIO, a robot to discover the mysteries of the Vessel according to Focus Entertainment’s preview page of the game. The story revolves around how the vessel has been left to waste with its caretakers having stopped functioning. MIO must discover more about their past and attempt to save the Vessel from destruction.
From the trailer alone, the visuals and music is stunning. In fact, Focus Entertainment seems to hint at rhythm being important in this game through their preview page, so perhaps battling is timed with the music.
There are over 30 enemy units and 15 bosses in which MIO has a multitude of abilities to face them head-on. MIO can be customized and enhanced through picking up components, making it possible for players to utilize the character to their playstyle.
This game will be available through XS, Xone, PS5, PS4, Switch, and PC.
