The month has come. We are just DAYS away (15 to be exact) from the most anticipated sports game in the past decade finally being released! Fans, including myself, have been going through all the emotions waiting to see what kind of gift will be under this Christmas tree on July 19. But just like the fun uncle, EA Sports is giving us a sneak peek before the big day.
This past month, the game company has been releasing content that’ll give its users a clue as to what to expect upon release. So far, it has put out team rankings, stadium loudness tiers, and a gameplay tutorial. But this week was the one everyone had been waiting for, the Dynasty Mode breakdown.
Known as the most popular feature in the game before the franchise went on a decade-long hiatus, the fanbase had been clamoring to see if the newest rendition lived up to the hype. They got their answer in just over six minutes. If you haven’t seen it yet, please do so now so you can answer how you feel about College Football 25’s Dynasty Deep Dive Trailer.
First thought – this looks incredible. Second thought – how did they fit so much detail into this? The recruiting seems crazy in the best sense of the word and really gives you a glimpse into what being a real head coach must be like. Think you’re just playing a game this week? Wrong, cause you’re planning CPU official visits that coincide with other CPU players that will make them both want to play at your school in a year or two. If you got lost trying to understand that sentence, imagine what it’ll be like when you first try it out in the game!
Which brings me to my one concern. Is it possible there’s too much going on in this mode? It’s clear that the creators at EA put so much time into it and you can get that feel just from a short video, but there seems to be A LOT happening. Maybe it’s just an overreaction and when I do play it my worries will be washed away, but does anyone else think that all these intricacies could take away from it? I guess the answer will present itself in about two weeks.
What do you think? Was the breakdown exactly what you were hoping for or was it more of a letdown? Let us know in the comments, or join us on Boss Rush Discord!
