Verina is a Standard Five Star Character and currently the only five star support and healer. This makes her one of, if not the most, important character to know how to build. At least until another five star support and healer character is introduced into Wuthering Waves.
Verina’s Attribute is Spectro and her weapon is a Rectifier. A character’s Attribute is the type of damage they deal and their weapon determines which types of weapons are available for them to use.

Weapons
At the moment, the best weapon for Verina is Stringmaster. Stringmaster is a five star limited banner weapon that is no longer available to be wished for. The weapon will not appear again until Yunlin’s rerun, as it is Yunlin’s Signature Weapon. However, Stringmaster’s ability provides a lot of ATK and damage buffs. As Verina scales off ATK, this is the best weapon for her. When fully enhanced, the Stringmaster’s base ATK value increases to 500 and the Bonus Stat of Crit Rate reaches 35.9%.
If Stringmaster is not an option, Variation would be the next best weapon. Fully enhanced, the base ATK value is at 337 with a substat of Energy Regeneration value at 51.8%. This is another good option for her as it has both ATK and Energy Regen. Verina’s Resonance Liberation is her most important ability, as it heals and supports the active character. This means that she needs a lot of Energy Regeneration to get her Resonance Liberation available more often.
In the case that both Stringmaster and Variation are not an option, other potential weapons include: Cosmic Ripples, Rectifier of Voyager, and Comet Flare.

Echoes
Once the Echo Cost reaches the max amount of twelve, the best way to balance Verina’s Echoes would be an Echo Cost of Four, Three, Three, One, and One. Her best Sonata Effect is a 5-pc Rejuvenating Glow, as it provides a healing bonus, however a 5-pc Moonlit Clouds can also work with its energy regeneration bonus.
No matter what Sonata Effect is chosen, her best Four Cost Echo is the Bell-Borne Geochelone with a Healing Bonus or ATK% main stat. The Bell-Borne Geochelone’s Echo Ability allows for a shield to be placed on the active character, minimizing damage. Outside of the Four Cost Echo, placed in the primary Echo slot, there is not a specific Echo needed. Instead, the main stat and Sonata Effect is what should be focused on.
The Three Cost Echoes should be Energy Regeneration, with the One Cost Echoes being ATK%. These are best for Verina as she is a healer and her Resonance Liberation should be able to used as often as possible.
The tuned substats should also focus on Energy Regeneration, ATK%, and Flat ATK. Other substats do not matter in the long run, as they neither harm nor benefit Verina. All of the Echoes should have these substats. However, the main stat is more important than the substats.

Teams
As Verina is a healer and support character, she works well in all teams. However, it is important that she is used first. Her ability allows her to charge Concerto Energy, which allows other characters to use their Intro Skill. If Verina’s Resonance Liberation is available, use it before she is switched out with another character. Once Concerto Energy is reached, Verina will also use her Outro Skill which increases her ATK and provides the rest of the team an All-Type Damage buff.
Verina is an incredibly versatile unit. This makes her an important and reliable character.
Skill Priorities
Once available to enhance, the first priority should be Verina’s Inherent Skills. These Inherent Skills provide different buffs. Gift of Nature provides an ATK buff when Verina casts a Heavy Attack, Mid-air Attack, Resonance Liberation, or her Outro Skill. It is only after Gift of Nature is unlocked, and the appropriate character level is reached, that Verina can then unlock the Grace of Life. Grace of Life allows Verina to protect a team member from fatal damage and also grants that character a shield based upon 120% of Verina’s ATK. This can only be triggered once every ten minutes.
As the Inherent Skills are locked behind character levels, with Gift of Nature being unlocked at character level 60, it is also important to prioritize leveling up Verina before the DPS characters.
When it comes to leveling Verina’s other skills, it is important to prioritize her Resonance Liberation and Forte Circuit. These two are where a majority of her healing and support comes from. The other skills are a much lesser priority, but should not be ignored either. Her Resonance Skill has the next priority, as it increases her Concerto Energy and also provides healing. Normal Attack and Intro Skill are both at the bottom of the priority list.

Sequence Nodes
Out of all of Verina’s Sequence Nodes, only her second and fourth are recommended. Of course, to get to her second and fourth Sequence Nodes the player would need to get her first and third. However, after that, none of the others are as important.
Her second Sequence Node allows other characters to gain their Intro Skill sooner. It also provides Photosynthetic Energy, which Verina needs in order to heal party members. This is her best Sequence Node to get as it increases Verina’s ability to heal, as well as allowing her to cast her Outro Skill sooner.
Her fourth Sequence Node is better when the players main DPS is also a Spectro character, as it allows her to buff Spectro DMG. This does not limit her to only being a Spectro DMG buffer, as she still provides the All-Type Damage Buff. But it does significantly increase the Spectro DMG, making her the best support for Jinshi.
All the rest of her Sequence Nodes, while increasing her healing, are not as important as the others. Verina heals plenty without them, making these buffs unnecessary.
