It’s only been a week since the Nintendo Direct Partnership showcase, and Nintendo surprised us with an Indie World Showcase this week. With 18 announced games, these indies will be coming to Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 this year and in the future. Check out these games coming soon!

In Is This Seat Taken, you will have to make decisions for people on where they will sit, be positioned at, and more in this cute and chill puzzle game. Window or booth, counter by yourself, or sit at a table with friends? You make the choices from the clues that are given and place random characters in designated spots.
Tiny Book Shop – Switch
Have you ever wanted to leave the busy city and live a cozy and easy life? Do you also want to have a book shop and meet new characters? Well, you can do that in Tiny Book Shop. Meet new people, recommend books, and customize your shop to your liking.
UFO 50 – Switch
Play 50 fictional video games for a console that never was released (which is also fictional).

Herdling – August 21st (Switch)
From the publisher of Firewatch and the creators of the F.A.R. series, Herdling takes you on an adventure as you herd beasts known as calicorns through diverse biomes. You will encounter challenging landscapes, such as snowy mountains and eerie fog forests, in this beautiful world. Will you help them to their final destination?

Strange Antiquities – September 17th (Switch) Pre-orders are live.

BALL X PIT – October 15th for Switch and this Fall for the Switch 2.

Mina The Hollower – October 31st for the Switch and Switch 2. Demo available today.
From Yacht Club Games comes their newest IP, Mina the Hollower. In this top-down action adventure, you play as Mina, a renowned hollower, who must find a way to rescue a cursed island. You’ll jump, attack, and solve puzzles while approaching challenging bosses and fiendish enemies, and traps.
Undusted: Letters From the Past – October 2025 on the Switch.
In Undusted: Letters From The Past, you will clean and restore items in a neglected house that has a history that will reveal itself as you progress through this cozy adventure.

65 million years in the future on Earth, you play as a new species known as a Tuai. In this future aquatic action JRPG, you’ll explore mysterious underwater areas and fight ferocius marine life to protect this new life on Earth. Check out my interview with the publisher Playism about the game.
Winter 2025
Ultimate Sheep Raccoon – (Switch/Switch 2)
Be the first to the finish line by setting obstacles to defeat your opponents. First to have the highest points in the end wins but remember, you previous obstacles carry to the next round along with your opponents set traps.
Winter Borrow – (Switch)
Can you survive a harsh winter in this top down adventure game? Craft, meet local friends, and try to build your childhood burrow back again.
Caves Of Qud – (Switch)

Well Dweller – (Switch)
From the creator of Crypt Custodian and Islets, Well Dweller is a dark fantasy metroidvania. You play as Glimmer, and you fight with a matchstick to rescue your family from the wicked Queen.
Neverway – (Switch)
As an immortal herald for a dead god, you play as Fionne and must farm and fight in this nightmarish life-sim RPG.
Content Warning – (Switch/Switch 2)
You and three others must capture moments of frightening enemies and make it back to upload the dark encounters you all come across. The more you upload, the better rewards you will receive to produce better footage and more. It’s all about those views!
