So, Then I Just Backed it: A Series on My Kickstarter Adventures (Part 22) Year 5

7–10 minutes

Has it really been 5 years since I started writing and talking about my Kickstarter adventures? Time is going quickly and there is so much to do and say when it comes to this series. I once again will reflect on this past year’s Kickstarter articles and interviews as well as the projects that I have backed the past 12 months or so. Here is the whole series to date.

Part 1 | Part 2 | Part 3 | Part 4 | Part 5 | Part 6 | Part 7 | Part 8 | Part 9 | Part 10 | Part 11 | Part 12 | Part 13 | Part 14 | Part 15 | Part 16 | Part 17 | Part 18 | Part 19 | Part 20 | Part 21

Since last year I have had the privilege of interviewing a few people that really are wonderful. I had a few accomplishments myself.

Part 17 – David Fuery – I interviewed David from Wakely Co. on their game Fragment.

Part 18 – Jacob Tylek – I interviewed Jacob, who alongside Victoria and their pet Fiji, were in the process of creating the horror game Unstill.

Part 19 – Carrigan Werner – I got to interview my friend and former coworker Carrigan on his untitled Car Game that he is creating along side my former teacher Ben from Thawed Codebase out of Green Bay Wisconsin.

Part 20 – Matt Olick – I reached out on Reddit about my series and Matt responded and I was lucky to interview such an experienced and well-known name within the Kickstarter universe.

Part 21 – Dr Anthony M. Bean – This interview was the most rewarding for me because I not only got to interview Dr. Anthony who is behind Geek Therapeutics and the Psychology of … series, but I also debut as an author with my first chapter in a book for the Fallout universe.

So, with another year passing, here are the 39 projects that I have backed that successfully reached their funding goal.
