During the Summer Games Fest, Hideo Kojima, famed director behind Metal Gear Solid, announced Death Stranding: Director’s Cut. Along with this announcement, Hideo Kojima showed off a new trailer for the game, reminiscent of the Metal Gear Solid games.
The trailer in question, shows us Norman Reedus’ character, Sam Porter Bridges, walking into an underground bunker where armed guards patrol the area. Seeing as the area looks tricky to bypass, and that he will then need to figure out another way to slip by. It is then in the trailer when we see the famed cardboard box for him to hide in.
Currently, it is unknown what will be new to the Director’s Cut, but here’s hoping that we hear more news soon on the game.
During this announcement, Kojima, also revealed he was working on a new game, which he has been working on for a while now, and that his creative process for making the game was different to what his used to in light of recent events aka Covid-19. Kojima didn’t reveal much about this new game but did mention it would be a different change to what we are used to from him.
