Five Places We’d Love To See In Spider-Man 2

With the release of the highly anticipated Spider-Man 2, we get an expanded map from the original games.

In addition to returning to the island of Manhattan, Sony has promised that this game will also allow us to explore Brooklyn and Queens. While Coney Island has been confirmed, there are plenty of other locations that we’d love to see.

Brooklyn Bridge

Now, we had this in the first one but only the area on the Manhattan side. I think it would be a fun challenge to time your webs as you swing across the Hudson between the two boroughs.

For me, there’s just something about the Brooklyn Bridge – it’s something that for me is iconically part of New York.

2. Prospect Park

In the first Spider-Man game, the parts where you were in Central Park brought a unique challenge as there were no buildings to swing off of and you had to rely on other tricks to help you complete those parts.

Adding another area like that and having that challenge in a new setting would be something I’d enjoy for the game.

3. Midtown School of Science and Technology

It’s an iconic Spider-Man location that was featured when Spider-Man first appeared in 1962.

Despite this being an older Peter Parker, I think having that nod would be something to add to the already wonderful character development that these games bring.

4. Citi Field

Mainly, I want the chance to have to dodge a home run as we swing past a Mets game (considering their record in recent years said run will most likely be from the other team).

I love the idea of swinging around a baseball stadium.

5. Flushing Meadows

So many references, so little time.

Home to the Mets. Home to two World’s Fairs. A solid Men in Black reference could be made.

Also, this is where the Stark Expo took place in Iron Man 2. While remaining distinct and separate, the games do like to reference the MCU.
