Your friends at Boss Rush Network continued with day four of PAX West 2025 in Seattle, Washington. The weather remained cool today, cloudy and in the 70s; but that didn’t stop the action from heating up on the convention floor. More amazing cosplays, pro-gaming competitions, merch, and much more. Here are our highlights for PAX West on Monday, September 1, 2025.
The Boss Rush Network team attendance at PAX West 2025: Ed (Vice President), David (Editor In Chief), Pat (Chief Gaming Officer), Jou Lee (Senior Writer), Courtney (Social Media Manager), and Sofi (Associate Writer). Each day, we’ll share our highlights from all the action at PAX West.
Ed (Vice President)

Well? The final day of PAX West has arrived, and with most of the team returning to their daily lives, Pat, Courty, and I set forth on some last appointments and game opportunities to play before setting out to fly back home.
Courty and I got to talk to Nick Spanos, who is the lead level designer, about Fresh Tracks and the game officially releasing on PS5 and Steam. So many bangers in the game, and the team is working on a Series S|X version. I also got to talk to their Marketing Director, Kathryn, about their next announced title in development, titled Birdseed VR. Birdseed VR is a cozy bird-watching game in VR, and they are working on the game for Meta Quest 3. It is coming along nicely, and they will have early access to it in the near future. Also, thanks to Director Patrick Owens for our discussion at Pax East this year and for coming to say hi before heading out. Truly, I enjoyed you all.
We also got to check out Stardust Frontier from Effort Games, and learned more about them as developers and their first game being shown to the public. It has a beautiful 32-bit sprite look to it and some cool mecha designs. It was a great conversation to have to know that mecha games are making a comeback in cool ways.
I got to try R-Type Delta HD Boost, and let me tell you, IT WAS EVERYTHING! The smooth controls and heart-racing shoot ‘em up action were in full force. Dodging, hyper beam charges, cool bosses, and more put me back in the arcade and got me focused on detail and patterns. City Connection has me hooked again on the IP and cannot wait to play more of their games.
We then headed over to the Summit building and looked around to see how the table top and trading card area were doing. Busy and beautiful it was. So many passionate gamers and passionate painters in the miniature section. While downstairs, we went to the Lanfest area, where we spoke to Joe at Antlion Audio about their company, products, and his history in gaming. WE NERDED OUT ABOUT FLASH GAMES, and I just wanted to hear his experience for hours. He is just a veteran icon. What else can I say?
I got some pics with some devs, met Adam Caflisch, who is a composer and producer for Peglin at Red Nexus Games. I also got a cool picture at Bandai Namco for Codevein 2 and told one of the attendants that I love the light for their booth. Top notch and beautiful blue color. We also got a picture with some K-pop Demon Hunters cosplayers, and they were just lovely and excited for the announced sequel to the movie.
This PAX West seems to be another successful convention for all gamers, cosplayers, techies, developers, and workers. This event isn’t a simple task to pull off. We all came together to enjoy the things we love and connect with others from around the world.
Sadly, it was our time to head out, and we all went our separate ways. I just want to thank David, Pat, Courty, Jou Lee, and Sofi for making this PAX West experience so much fun and exciting. You all brought joy to my heart, great conversations, and some awesome articles. Until next time, I love you all and hope to see you at future conventions.
Sofi (Associate Writer)

Last day of PAX West was a day to remember. I was able to go out and connect with so many influential people to not just the gaming industry, but to my personal upbringing as well. Befriending ConcernedApe, the developer of Stardew Valley, and meeting the Youtuber that made me fall more in love with video games, AbdallahSmash, were both great privileges that I could never take for granted. At every huge event like this, I end up becoming more grateful for the opportunity and the people in my life who got me to where I am. Here’s to more events that celebrate the community of gamers.
Courtney (Social Media Manager)

Last day—and what a day! I explored every nook and cranny of PAX and met people I never would have thought I’d meet (like cosplayers dressed up as a K-pop demon hunter!). Today was where indies really shined, from Effort Games with their Stardust Frontier to creators reminiscing about E3. It all tied the weekend together and really defined what PAX is all about: community, connections, and a space where people can play games.
I’m definitely excited for the next convention, wherever it takes us. Now, onto the articles I plan on writing—and the TikToks I’m ready to edit!
